The POSE (Primary Obesity Surgery Endoluminal) is performed by passing special instruments through the mouth and into the stomach. The surgeon then creates "folds" in the stomach to reduce the amount of food it can hold, so you feel fuller faster, eat less and allows you to lose weight.
As the procedure is incisionless, there can be benefits to patients, including minimized pain, reduced risk of infection and complications, shorter hospital stays and no visible external scars.

The POSE procedure is available at our Manchester, Leeds or Harrogate Gravitas Centres.
Please telephone our team on 08452 515 515 for more information about our information evenings, where you will be able to meet the team and discuss whether the POSE is the right procedure for you.
